How do I close my account?

We understand that circumstances change, and if you’re considering closing your account, we’re here to help.

It’s worth knowing that as a member of Capital Credit Union, you’re a member for life. Even if you move out of our common bond area or no longer work for a select employer, you can remain a member and continue using your account.

As a member, you have access to services including:

• Saving through regular deposits or lump sums

• Borrowing with affordable loan options

• Insurance benefits on eligible loans (terms and conditions apply)

• Online and mobile banking to manage your account easily

If you still wish to close your account, you’ll need to request an Account Closure Form.

You can do this by:

• Sending a secure message through the app

• Emailing us

• Calling us on 0131 225 9901
