How do I send a secure message?

Using secure messages in the app or online banking

Overview

Secure messaging allows you to contact us safely about your account without sharing personal or financial information by email.

All account-specific queries should be sent using secure messaging.

Using the app

Follow these steps to send a secure message in the app:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Select the three lines in the top left corner of the screen to open the menu.

  3. Choose Secure Messages.

  4. Tap Compose Secure Message at the bottom of the screen.

  5. Enter your message and press send.

Your message will be delivered securely to our team. We will reply through the same secure message area.

Using online banking on a computer or browser

If you are using online banking through a web browser:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Select the envelope icon.

  3. Choose Compose Secure Message.

  4. Enter your message and press send.

Your reply will appear in your Secure Messages inbox.

When to use secure messaging

You should use secure messaging if:

  • You are asking about your loan application

  • You need to discuss personal or financial information

  • You need to send documents

  • You want an update on your account

We cannot discuss account details by standard email.

Is secure messaging safe?
Yes. Messages are sent within your logged-in account and are protected.

Can I reply to your secure message?
Yes. Simply open the message and reply within the secure message area.

How will I know when you have replied?
You may receive a notification from the app. You can also log in and check your Secure Messages inbox.
