When will I receive my Child Benefit?
Information about Child Benefit payments into your account
Once you’ve contacted the Child Benefit Office and updated your payment details to your Capital Credit Union account, your Child Benefit should be paid directly to us.
Please be aware that if you made the change close to your payment date, it may take one additional payment cycle for the update to take effect. During this time, your benefit may still be sent to your previous account.
When we receive your Child Benefit payment, we’ll pay it directly into your account.
If you’re also waiting for a loan, we’ll pay both your excess Child Benefit and your loan funds at the same time, once the benefit payment has been received.
