When will I receive my Child Benefit?
Having Child Benefit and other benefits paid into your Capital account
Once you've told the Child Benefit Office to pay your Child Benefit into your Capital Credit Union account, it's paid to us and we pay it into your account.
If you made the change close to your payment date, it can take one more payment cycle to take effect. Until then, your benefit may still go to your previous account.
If you're also waiting for a loan, we pay your remaining Child Benefit and your loan at the same time, once the benefit payment reaches us.
Other benefits
You can have other benefits, such as Universal Credit or Adult Disability Payment, paid to us too.
When they arrive depends on the benefit and your own payment schedule, set by whoever pays it. Once a payment reaches us, we pay it into your account as quickly as we can. There may be a short delay around a bank holiday, or while our team processes it.
