How do I pay money into my account?
Debit card, Direct Debit, payroll and phone payments
You can pay into your savings in a few ways.
- In the app: select Debit Card Deposit and follow the steps to pay in whenever you like.
- By phone: call us on 0131 225 9901 and our team can take a debit card payment.
- By Direct Debit: save a set amount every week or month automatically.
- From your salary: if you work for one of our payroll partners, you can save straight from your wages.

How long does a debit card payment take?
A payment you make in the app or online banking usually goes through straight away. Some banks take longer, so it can arrive later in the day or on the next working day. A card payment taken by our team over the phone can take a few working days.
Can I pay in a cheque?
No. We can't accept paper cheques, in person or online. If you receive a cheque, pay it into a bank account that accepts them.
